Congratulations to this year's THiNKSeries Leaders!
The Leadership Programme is to nurture future global leaders who are good all rounders.
Applicants are to be evaluated on their:
- global perspectives on how to make a better world through education
- innovative minds to use their talents (fondness for art, music, sport, language and technology)
- literary and academic achievements
Objectives
- To equip students with communications skills, including public speaking and interview skills
- To train students with project management skills, such as press liaison and event - organisation
- To foster students’ potential and bolster their confidence
- To broaden students’ horizon
Selection Process
- Nominees will be short-listed and invited for an interview conducted by the professional judging panel.
- Selected finalists will undergo professional training
- After the training, the finalists will perform in the Think Series Awards Ceremonies 2010 in the following prominent capacity:
- Project Leaders of Event Committee
- Event Organisers
- Masters of Ceremony
- Press

Professional Trainers (Past & Present)
Mr Lambert Chan, Marketing Consultant
Mr Chan is a seasoned marketing professional for the last 20 years. He is former Managing Director, Cards and Loans at DBS Bank. He also held senior management positions at Hong Kong Telecom, Citibank, and Hong Kong Tourism Board. He has led many innovative and global marketing projects, including One2Free, the Post-SARS tourism revival campaign, and the 2006 Discover HK Campaign.
Mr Clement Chung, CEO, Wiseman Education
Mr. Chung started his career at Grant Thornton, a CPA firm, as a system consultant. He next joined Reuters as a financial application specialist. Before joining Wiseman, Clement took up senior management positions with Sun Hung Kai & Co. and PCC Skyhorse. Mr. Chung is an accomplished scholar-cum-professional. Notably, he was awarded multiple scholarships, the first of which was to study Master of Finance, and two others to hone his management expertise at Harvard Business School (2000) and Tsinghua Graduate School of Management (2001).
Ms Laura Cozijnsen, Chief Branding Consultant, Lighthouse Consultant Ltd
Ms Cozjinsen is the Founder of Lighthouse Consultant Limited. Laura is a marketing veteran and is regularly invited by various industries and academic bodies to share on topical issues regarding marketing business practices and public speaking, organizations include AIG, HKPC, HKUST, HKBU etc.
She is also the Champion for 2006 HK Masters of Ceremony Competition - Individual and Group Category. Ms Cozjinsen is an experienced MC for prominent corporate events, such as Hong Kong Designers Association, Philips Electronics Hong Kong Limited, HK Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Standard Chartered Bank (HK) Ltd
Mr David Glasscock, Director, Wiseman Education
Mr. Glasscock loves photography and has commenced studies in a Diploma in Photography (RMIT). He was born in Australia and has gained extensive experience in marketing, sales, consulting, presentation and management throughout Asia. Accolades include awards for recognition of professional photography.
Ms Rose M. P. Heung, Risk Management Consultant
Rose possesses more than 20 years’ of experience in the retail banking industry. She was formerly a Vice President of Credit Risk Management at Citibank N.A., both in Hong Kong and Taiwan. At present, she is a consultant of risk management for financial institutions. Throughout her career, Rose has had many opportunities and the pleasure to work with people from across different cultures, especially throughout Asia. She is also a trained facilitator of Banking Management Trainee programs and People Management courses.
Mr Philip Ho, Public Relations, CUHK
Philip Ho is an experienced Public Relations professional who has served leading business corporations in Macau and Hong Kong including Galaxy Entertainment Group and British American Tobaccos Hong Kong. With solid knowledge of media relations and the political landscape of Hong Kong, Philip was appointed by the Hong Kong Government as a part-time member of the Central Policy Unit during the period of 2005 and 2006. Prior to joining the public relations profession, Philip was a senior journalist and a political assistant of members of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. Philip is currently teaching Public Relations on a part-time basis at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Mr Nathan Johnston, Programme Director, Small World Project
Mr Johnston's studies, research, and work range from technology to documentary and ethnographic film, to how people learn and overcome misconceptions. After completing his B.Sc. studies at Stanford University, he worked at Apple Computer and later worked in Europe and Indonesia. In June 2007, Nathan completed his M.Ed. in Arts in Education at Harvard University.
